The best thing about solar power is that it has an unlimited potential. Learn how to build your solar panels, easily and save $1000’s on utility bills forever! You can solar power your complete home for a very small investment. You just need to know how to make your own renewable energy source and today I am going to tell you exactly how to go about building your own solar panels.

If you want to learn how to build your solar panels, you’ll first have to understand some basics on how exactly does a solar panel works. This way, the whole process will be pretty simple to handle.

Solar modules are the main components exposed directly to sunlight. Their main function is to change the sun’s energy into electrical energy that can be utilized by electrical equipments. To have them correctly installed, solar modules are to be mounted on a steel frame and placed on the roof top.

Power generated by the solar modules is converted from Direct Current (DC) to Alternating Current (AC) through an inverter. Generally, Alternating Current (AC) is the utilizable electrical power that we need to power the home appliances.

Next, the electrical power transfers from the inverter to the electrical service panel. The electrical service panel is used for transmitting the electrical power to different parts of your house or office for use.

The unutilized electrical power generated by the solar panels will then be brought into the grid via the utility electric meter. Thus, the meter will be made to spin backwards and this establishes a credit with the utility company in offsetting any future usage. This method is known as Net Metering and is authorized by the State Level Electricity Policy.

Learning how to build your solar panels isn’t really complex. You don’t need many skills beyond being able to handle wiring & basic tools with care and safety measures.

<!--

As you’re looking for more efficient ways to power your house, consider building your own home solar panel. This article will tell you why.

The Benefits Of Solar Energy

Renewable energy is one of the hottest topics around the world, given today’s global energy crisis, and the use of solar energy has been in the forefront. Installing a Home Solar Panel is a great way to save energy and reduce your cost of living.

You might be surprised to find out just what a home solar panel can do for you. Let’s examine some of these.

1. Drastically Reduce Your Energy Bills With A Home Solar Panel

Home Solar Panels can drastically cut your monthly energy bills. And in an economic recession like we’re in, even a few pennies saved are very important. Imagine if you could watch your TV, surf the internet, and drink a glass of cold beer from your refrigerator without paying your power company – all because you have your own home solar panel installed! You can use solar energy in the time of year (and the time of day) when energy use is at its highest – and watch the savings add up!

2. Protect The Environment Using A Home Solar Panel

Until now, most people have been using oil as their primary energy source. This, of course, is not friendly to the environment. A home solar panel, on the other hand, is very eco-friendly. It uses the sun itself for “fuel”, and since the sun is never in short supply, and does not give off any harmful emissions, it is in reality the ideal energy source.

Why Install It yourself?

So you’ve decided to get a home solar panel – but now you face another question: Do you install it yourself or hire a professional? While a professional installation is always a possibility, you can save even more money if you take the time to build and install a home solar panel yourself.

Remember these important points:

1. A Professional Home Solar Panel Installation Is Expensive

Why pay $3000 when you can build your own home solar panel for only $200? Engaging a professional technician really can be that expensive. It can increase your monthly expenditure, since home solar panel installers are typically paid as much as three grand! On the other hand, you pay only a couple hundred dollars instead of thousands if you invest a little bit of time to learn how to install the home solar panel yourself.

2. It Is Easy To Do It Yourself

Installing a home solar panel is not as difficult as many people thought. All you need to do is browse through the internet to search for help. There are numerous inexpensive but very high quality guides available online. Then, head down to your local hardware store to buy the necessary materials.

While there, ask the store staff if anyone there has experience installing a home solar panel. If so, they might be willing to share some tips for free. Once you have the materials at your home, by following the guide or manual, you’ll find that the process will take only a few hours to complete.

Give it a shot. And watch how easy it is to help your bank account and the environment simply by building and installing your own Home Solar Panel.

Why pay your power company hundreds of dollars each month… when you can easily build your own Home Solar Panels and generate the same electricity for FREE?

Not everybody is blessed with a house and garden plot or lives in the country with access to farming land, so the option for a garden leave alone a kitchen garden, is a fairly remote one. But, if you put on your thinking cap, you can have a fresh and economical option of growing your own veggies in the privacy of your home – by using cost-effective gardening containers for growing vegetables from seeds and seedlings bought from the local nursery or even ordered from a mail-order or online catalogue.

For those that live in flats and hostels, the need to grow their own vegetables may be limited due to space constraints, but the readily available gardening containers in many different sizes and materials make having a kitchen garden less of a dream and more of a possibility for people with the smallest budget. There are also a variety of indoor gardening plants and vegetables you can bring for your home cooking needs, which only require a few hours of sunlight that they can have access to while hung in the balcony or even in your window-sill planter box. These include herbs, peppers, bush beans, salad greens, bush and cherry tomatoes and baby carrots.

Of course, depending on the vegetable variety you do purchase and the size they grow to, you will need to purchase a planter pot that is ready for holding the full-sized plant, so choose with care. For example, tomatoes are grown one per pot while a big size pot can hold 3-4 pepper plants besides basil herb around it in small quantity. This is typical of 5 gallon pots.

Other containers you can use for your gardening needs include tubs, buckets and barrels cut in half (distillery ones) ranging from 5 to 15 liters. However, you need to keep in mind that if you are also intending to plant herbs in addition to the vegetables in the pots, you need to ascertain that the ones you buy are at least 10 inches in diameter so spring onions, for example, planted in the pot, also hold space for rosemary or thyme.

You need to also invest in a drainage tray (even plastic ones will do) that will allow for proper leaching from time to time so the pots get enough water, sunlight and there is a measure for extra water to leak out too. Do remember to line the bottom of the pot with some pieces of rocks or broken crockery besides a few layers of newspaper before putting in potting soil to prevent the fine soil from seeping out from the drainage holes.

Use well-rotted compost, adequate potting soil till an inch or two below the rim, water plants regularly and also give plant food twice as often as outdoor plants would need as dehydration occurs more rapidly for indoor plants.

A new food- technology centre, designed to support artisan food and drink production, has started out on a good footing with the installation of a Flowcrete floor.

Cumbria’s new Food Technology Centre – recently opened by the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh and developed by the Distinctly Cumbrian business support programme – has been designed to help smaller food and drink producers move towards growth and larger scale production.

It provides facilities that bridge the gap between home kitchen and factory unit, housing several businesses in the Centre full time, while other units will be available on a more flexible basis for seasonal production or to deal with peak orders.

Located close to Penrith, the £1.5 million development has been funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) and the European Rural Development Fund, through Cumbria Rural Enterprise Agency (CREA).

Flowcrete approved contractor, Quattro Contracting – located a stone’s throw from the new Centre – applied a state-of-the-art hygienic floor at the site.

The Quattro team applied Flowcrete Flowfresh HF – a flooring system that is geared up to the unique needs of food production – throughout all the units.

A special additive is locked into the Flowfresh floor and emits silver ions which kill bacteria. This additive, Polygiene® is capable of controlling salmonella, E-coli and many other types of bacteria and yeast on contact – a major step forward in fighting the spread of potentially harmful bugs.

Alan Dean, sales director of Flowcrete, said: “The unique hygienic qualities, coupled with tremendous abrasion resistance, slip-resistance and durability, ensure the system measures up to the tough and uncompromising demands of the food sector, not only in the kitchens but also in the storage and packing areas.”

Quattro also applied coving and drainage to support the floor’s function. Company spokesman Ian Thompson, said: “This was a great project to be involved in as it is a tremendous investment in the area and into growing businesses – and the floor looks fantastic.”

The best thing about solar power is that it has an unlimited potential. Contrary to the popular belief learning how to build a solar panel is easy. You just need to know how to make your own renewable energy source and today I am going to tell you exactly how to build your own solar panel for electricity.

Before you build a solar panel, you’ll need to learn some basics on how exactly do solar panels work. This way, the entire procedure will be much easier to handle.

Solar panels are not some new concept, but building your own Homemade Solar Panels is a new concept for some. It is, however, a quickly-spreading innovation.

Homemade solar panels are a feasible way of generating electricity from energy provided by the sun. By using energy created from homemade solar panels, which would otherwise be wasted or left simply unused, we can provide solutions to a large number of problems, such as the expensive rates charged by electricity companies. It also helps solve problems associated with environmental pollution.

Types Of Solar Panels

There are two types of Home Solar Panels: the ones that heat the water or any other fluid, and the ones that collect energy from the sun, transforming it into electricity. The first type of homemade solar panels is also known as photovoltaic panels or photovoltaic modules, meaning the conversion of light into electrical volts.

Homemade solar panels have been developed in the field of technology and research which is related to the conversion of sunlight directly into streaming electricity. Because of the growing demand for renewable sources of energy, many people have considered the construction of homemade solar panels and photovoltaic arrays in the last few years.

Solar Energy By Numbers

More and more households are turning to build their own homemade solar panels and solar cells. In fact the number of households that are doing this has increased by an average of 48 percent each year since 2002.

At the end of the year 2007, research has shown that the cumulative global production of all panels was over 12,400 megawatts. This energy production can easily lower environment damages as well as our energy bills. So there is an important choice to be made – one which must be made now, while there is still a chance to save our planet and save our money.

Professionally-Made Vs Homemade

Professionally manufactured solar panels are expensive and not everyone can afford them. That’s why homemade solar panels are fast catching on as a worthy alternative. With homemade solar panels, you can greatly reduce your monthly energy bills, leaving you with extra money you can spend on other important things in your life.

Homemade solar panels are relatively easy to build, and the effort is worth it. Even a layman could do it, if presented with step-by-step instructions and illustrations. Materials and tools are ones most people have already around the house. What really helps is that there are many manuals available on the internet that will guide you through the entire process of building and installing your own homemade solar panels.

What Will It Cost Me?

Building your own solar homemade solar panels will set you back by $200 at most – significantly lower than what you can expect to pay for a commercially purchased system; it might be even less if you consider using salvaged materials or parts lying around your house or in your garage. Most homemade solar panels, if well-installed, can easily last twenty years or even more. This is a wise long term investment as you will recover your investment cost very quickly.

So why wait? You can build your own Homemade Solar Panels and slash your energy bills for good!

Why pay your power company hundreds of dollars each month… when you can easily build your own Home Solar Panels and generate the same electricity for FREE?

At http://homemadesolarpanels.weebly.com, Dave Keller reveals all the secrets that most people will never know about harnessing FREE energy with Homemade Solar Panels…

Things were going great in the early stages. I had just recently started growing vegetables in my back yard and things were moving along very well. Certain vegetables were growing somewhat slowly, and I didn’t expect things to be so smooth forever, but I had faith things would turn out well no matter what obstacles I would have to face. It wasn’t long before I faced one of the first setbacks in cultivating a vegetable garden and discovered that I would have to put in garden fencing.

I had grown vegetables in the past but it was a communal garden and it was ages ago so when the rabbits started to ruin my garden, I was totally caught off guard. Luckily, because of my experience, I not only knew the answer was garden fencing but I also knew exactly what kind of garden fencing was required.

Straightaway I went and purchased the wire garden fencing and had it put in as soon as possible. It’s not necessarily a job you need to hire someone for as anyone with basic construction skills should be able to handle it. Personally my construction skills could use some work but luckily I had the help of my husband. The first thing we did was we checked the border of the garden to determine what length of garden fencing we needed. I decided to include a somewhat larger area than the actual vegetable garden because I knew I would be adding more vegetables when things were under control. Now what we used was wire garden fencing with a green vinyl coating. It wasn’t panels but a rolled up sheet of fencing that was unraveled around metal posts. We had each post installed on the border of the garden and then had the wire fencing affixed around the garden.

One thing you may want to be sure of is that there are no spaces within the garden fencing. Shortly after having the fence put in, I went into the yard to discover a rabbit trapped inside of the garden. The rabbit must’ve gotten in through a gap but couldn’t find its way out! What we did was check the fencing and make sure all gaps were gotten rid of and we also made sure that the fencing was firm against the ground so that no rabbit would be able to sneak under the garden fencing either.

The wire garden fencing turned out great and not only did it keep animals from ruining my garden, but some vegetables ended up developing better with the fence as support. Wire garden fencing is very functional and practical but after we had it for a while I found some time to have it replaced. In the end I put in a much more visually appealing one that still protects my vegetables. Not all garden fencing can be used for keeping rabbits away from your vegetables but there is garden fencing available that can do the job of protecting vegetable gardens and is also much nicer looking than simple wire garden fencing.

Renewable energies are not a new trend – it’s the unavoidable future. And solar power is one of the best and most reliable renewable energy sources available. Most likely you already know about the advantages of your own solar panel: it will save you plenty of money, you will live off the grid, you will help to save the environment and much, much more.

The problem here is that professionally installed solar power systems are way too expensive for “average” people. You will need to pay around $3.000 – 5.000 only for a regular one! And it can take well over 10 years to see a return on their investment.

But fortunately, there are alternatives. The best one is to build solar panels on your own. That’s right, making solar panels by yourself is possible and not that difficult! And I’m not talking about do it yourself solar panels that can hardly power a simple lamp for a couple of minutes. We are talking about real solar panels for home use!

Actually, there are even do it yourself solar panel kits available that include all the components you need to build your own solar panel. Even if you don’t find one, you can buy all the required components at your local hardware store for less than $200!

So, what you need in first place is a good instruction. There are many guides available, but if you do a research you will quickly find that Build a Solar Panel with its outstanding step-by-step video instructions is the best one available. Inside, you not only find chapters on how to build your own solar panels and power generator, but also on how exactly solar power works, how you can reduce your oil dependence and how you can use ethanol and save thousands of dollars.

Once you know how to make a solar panel, it normally takes about a day to assemble a 100-watt panel. A 100-watt panel is the ideal amount of electricity you need to operate small appliances or a small workshop. So, now it’s up to you making the choice to a new, independent, off the grid life.
